Decide what kind of story you want to test: a striker chasing goals, a midfielder balancing creation and control, a defender building longevity, or a goalkeeper earning responsibility. This blueprint gives each later choice a consistent standard.
Choose a non-sensitive surname, shirt number, home country, position and preferred foot. The number is part of the identity and accepts 1–99; it is not the player's overall rating or potential.
Match the first club to the player
Copero shows the club's level, prestige, expected role and estimated minutes. Compare all four instead of choosing the biggest name. A prospect needs a route onto the pitch, while a player close to the club level can compete for a stronger role.
Starting lower is not a penalty when it creates regular appearances. The career can introduce transfer and loan decisions later, so the first club should support development rather than imitate the final destination.
Use decisions to keep the build coherent
Training, fitness, media, contracts, integrity and leadership decisions affect the route in different ways. Read the visible consequence of each option and choose according to the blueprint instead of always selecting the boldest label.
At transfer windows, compare expected role and minutes again. A move can increase prestige while reducing playing time. Staying, leaving on loan or transferring are tools for different stages rather than permanent good or bad choices.
Review the completed football career
At retirement, use peak overall, appearances, goals, assists, trophies, international record, clubs and career score to evaluate the build. No single statistic explains the whole journey, especially across different positions.
Save or share the final card, then change one variable for the next run. Keeping the position while changing the country, or keeping the club rule while changing pace, produces a comparison you can actually interpret.
